Hi, I’m Nikki Toogood—a coach who helps individuals move from feeling stuck, lost, or unsure to clear, confident, and empowered to live life on their terms.
With a background as both a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Coach, I bring a unique blend of strategic thinking and emotional insight to my work. My mission is to help you challenge the beliefs that are holding you back and take meaningful, sustainable steps toward a life that feels true to you.
And I get it—because I’ve lived it. A big part of why I coach is because I’ve been many of the people I work with. I’ve been overwhelmed by pressure and expectations. I’ve been craving direction but paralyzed by choices. That’s what makes this work so personal—and why I know that real change is possible.
I believe transformation happens when you're heard, supported, and gently challenged. That’s why I create a safe, reflective space where you can quiet the noise, reconnect with yourself, and move forward with purpose and confidence.
Whether you’re craving clarity in your career, more balance in your life, or simply a better relationship with yourself, I’m here to walk that path with you.
When I’m not coaching, I’m exploring new ideas, learning from others, and doing the deep work of personal growth—because I believe that’s where the magic happens.
Let’s work together to create the change you’ve been seeking.
I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and still call this beautiful city home. My personal journey has had its share of highs and lows, shaping who I am today. I’m a proud mom and stepmom to five wonderful children aged 10 to 15, and our family wouldn’t be complete without our lively two-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, who keeps us on our toes.
Life hasn’t always been easy. I experienced a devastating loss at the age of 21, which profoundly impacted me and changed my perspective on resilience, compassion, and living authentically. That experience, along with navigating divorce and later finding love again, gave me a deeper understanding of the human experience—both the joys and the struggles.
Professionally, I have a strong foundation in accounting, having obtained my Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and Master of Professional Accounting degrees from the University of Saskatchewan, followed by earning my Chartered Professional Accountant designation. I’m also a Certified Professional Coach, having completed a Leadership coaching certification course through Coach Academy. These experiences helped me hone my analytical and strategic skills, which I now apply in coaching.
Through all of this, I’ve come to believe that it’s our vulnerability and our willingness to face challenges head-on that pave the way for genuine growth and connection. I share my story because I know how important it is to feel understood and seen, and I want to bring that same understanding and empathy to my work with you.
My mission as a coach is to empower others to challenge their perspectives and beliefs and find their strength and courage to live the life that they want.
